Our Team
Chris Lemire
Chris Lemire has more than 20 years of successful public accounting experience. He has been the Managing Partner of his own local, full-service, entrepreneurial accounting firm, as well as Vice-President of Taxation for a midsize family owned company. Prior to these key leadership positions, he was a founder and principal in a payroll company and a tax accountant in the regional accounting firm.
All this experience has given Chris a powerful knowledge of the federal, state and local tax codes related to small through midsize companies. This background has also been applied effectively to the needs of high net-worth individuals, their related business entities, trusts and estates. His areas of specific expertise include domestic and international tax compliance, financial statement preparation, tax returns, maintenance of performance level internal controls, the design and deployment of complex tax strategies and business plan development.
In addition, Chris has been called upon to render advice on entity formation structures for startups, asset protection plans and the nuances of complex acquisition/divesture projects involving real estate and recreational property. He has worked extensively in the service, manufacturing, recycling, and medical business sectors. Chris is a licensed CPA, holds a B.S. in accounting from the University of Akron, is a member of the Ohio Society of CPA’s and AICPA, and serves on the Board of Directors for a manufacturing company.
Betsy Painting
Betsy Painting started her accounting career at Ernst & Young as a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Audit Team in the Assurance Services Department. She also held multiple controller positions at local midsize companies. While in these positions, Betsy was responsible for payroll and all business and sales tax filings, in addition to overseeing both accounts payable and receivable.
Her attention to organization and detail helped grow her career and start her own accounting services business. She works closely with accounting firms and small businesses in northeast Ohio utilizing her expertise in QuickBooks and other accounting software programs. Her services include monthly financials and budgets so her clients can effectively grow their businesses. As an accountant, Betsy offers her clients additional services such as verifying and analyzing data, generating reports, performing audits, and helping business owners understand the impact of financial decisions.
Betsy is active in her community using her advanced accounting skills to serve as treasurer on various boards and clubs. She established a solid foundation for these organizations to allow for growth and development. She has volunteered and trained others to be able to use these skills to maintain a long-lasting system for years to come.
In addition, Betsy is a licensed CPA, holding a B.S. in accounting from Ohio University and is a member of the Ohio Society of CPA’s.
Tim Yeager
Tim is a unique combination of innovation and business. His ability to view financial information from various perspectives to drive the success of a business plays a major role in his career. He has the ability to view any problem from the highest level, while still executing the solution at a granular level.
Throughout his career he has relied on the fundamentals of finance while leveraging technology to ensure success. Being well versed in SQL as well as advanced Excel allows him to create and automate processes seamlessly. He has experience with proforma modeling for several start up organizations, as well as reformation of existing companies. His skills in forecasting have been proven consistently reliable, becoming an invaluable tool in a changing business climate. Tim holds a BS in Finance.
